Keep It Weird is an on-going art project based in Athens, Georgia. What started out as crappy comics on scrap paper about weird instances in life turned into community involvement, art collaborations, zine shows and more! The art and drive behind Keep It Weird is that anything and everything is useful in the creative process, whether it's a quick sketch on a napkin, a passing thought, or a misspelled street sign. Life is a strange and beautiful thing, and weird things happen to everyone, everyday. Everything can be made into something else, and everyone has the capacity to express themselves in creative outlets. Keep It Weird is about making art accessible to others through open-submission zine issues, collaborations, and community projects.
